Modular concept…

The transition between pilot plant and full-scale production is made easy with Pamasol machines. Due to their modular design, identical units, e.g. product fillers, crimpers and propellant fillers are automated and used in multiples on production lines. Sub-based pneumatic logic elements control individual heads.

Stripdown and cleaning…

All units are fixed with the Pamasol quick-release plug-in mounting system, which automatically connects to the pneumatic control module. All heads, with their associated distribution pipework can be removed or exchanged in an instant. The DH Autocart automatic cleaning unit is equipped with the same quick-release system and incorporates PLC controlled pneumatics to perform selected washing programmes and interface with CIP process plant.

Propellants

DH / Pamasol equipment is designed to handle MDIs filled with all types of propellant, from the traditional CFC formulations, now being phased out, to HFC 227 and 134a which have distinct differences in filling technique. We have pioneered new systems to handle the new formulations and designed a completely new range of suspension and propellant fillers and transfer pumps to enable them to be filled successfully. These new units are now built into in all new MDI installations. They also incorporate smooth passages to facilitate cleaning.

Validation

In conjunction with the DH/Pamasol pharmaceutical equipment range we offer equipment validation and qualification packages to satisfy the current F.D.A and various other regulatory authority requirements. We prepare design, installation, operational and process qualification packages which can be tailored to suit each customer requirements, together with comprehensive operator and technical manuals. The dh/pamasol documentation packages enable a smooth passage from equipment build and installation to production.
