Test Baths

Water test baths of various types and sizes are available to suit all standard aerosol packs and line capacities up to 500 cpm.

The P361L is a small stainless steel test tank with thermostatic heating control and 2 baskets with safety lid, suitable for laboratory/development purposes.

The P2029 is a similar manually operated test tank to suit 5 baskets suitable for small scale production.

The Comes Economic range of delrin clip test baths are fully automatic comprising a continuous chain which carries the aerosol cans through a thermostatically controlled test tank. The cans are placed on the clips and returned to the conveyor at the forwarding unit.

Clips are available to suit standard 1" valves, 20 mm metric valves and PET 1" overcrimp.

Capacities up to 250 cpm with 3 minute immersion time (the immersion time depends on the temperature of the water, the volume of the contents, the material/thickness of the container and the specific heat of the contents).

The Comes Fluitest is a special water test bath to suit small aerosol containers, the can is held by the base IN a stainless steel clip. Capacity up to 120 cpm.

Both types of Comes water test baths are available with automatic leak detection/rejection and high velocity blower drying systems. The Empack water test bath is a high speed magnetic test tank suitable only for tinplate containers. Available in various sizes to suit capacities of up to 600 cpm. Available with leak detector as an option.
